In a bizarre partnership that defies conventional forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.

Strange Adventure Disclosed

According to the formal statement, "An unusual encounter leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where whispers of banned ceremonies and monstrous changes resonate through the shadows." The storyline presents a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a hidden cult.

The adventure concentrates on "peculiar experiments and a terrifying foe" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Metamorphoses

The trailer showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview finishes with a dramatic sequence showing a character, likely the captive, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Items and Extra Material

Players who accomplish the mission will receive an unique katana together with numerous artifacts secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

Third Free Story Update

This release also adds the game's third no-cost story addition, titled "The Mystery."
