Passionate fans of Ariana Grande are demanding that a individual who breached a fence and touched the celebrity during Thursday's Wicked: For Good premiere be detained or expelled from Singapore.

A widely shared video depicts the Australian man bypassing photographers and lunging at Grande while the actors made its way down a promenade accompanied by onlookers.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo quickly wrested the stunned star away from Mr Wen, who was observed being escorted out of the premiere by event staff.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram recently that he was "free after being taken in", though official papers revealed that he was scheduled to attend court on the next day. It is uncertain if he was faced legal action.

Record of Disruptions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Notorious Troublemaker", has crashed a celebrity gathering. His Instagram account contains recordings of him disturbing other star-studded functions, including breaching the performance area at Katy Perry's Sydney show in recently and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers event in the same location last December.

"There needs to be action enforced against him as this is evidently a criminal offence," stated an Instagram commenter, in a reply to a video Mr Wen shared of his act.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" another Instagram user remarked.

Followers Show Disapproval Over Ariana's Safety

Numerous followers accused Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had discussed experiencing PTSD after a suicide bomb attack at the end of her 2017 concert in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and harming many.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" commented one more message on Instagram.

Several supporters also faulted security officers at the Thursday event for not being adequately prepared; while different individuals requested digital services to remove Mr Wen's uploads.

Aftermath and Premiere Information

In videos shared widely, Grande seemed startled when she was grabbed by the individual. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed reassuring her while Mr Wen was led out by guards.

Grande has not commented on the event, and the premiere activities continued without further issues.

The motion picture, to be premiered on November 21, is the sequel of a two-film version of the acclaimed theatrical musical Wicked, which centers on the unlikely bond between two very different sorceresses.

The show itself is a adaptation of the classic story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the character Glinda Glinda, was dressed in a light pink sequin dress at the premiere while Erivo, who plays the Elphaba, wore a black tube gown embroidered with roses.

They were joined by co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The previous installment, Wicked, was the top-earning motion picture of 2024 in the UK, and received 10 Oscar nominations, winning a pair for best costume and production design.
