Combatants laugh as they move on the bed of a utility vehicle, speeding by a series of nine dead bodies and heading towards the setting Sudanese sun.

"Look at this extensive work. Look at this genocide," a combatant exclaims.

The individual grins as he points the recording device on his person and his fellow militiamen, their RSF identification visible: "These people are all going to perish in this manner."

These individuals are rejoicing over a mass killing that relief organizations believe resulted in the deaths of over two thousand people in the Sudanese urban center of the Darfur city last month.

A City Cut Off from the Outside

After maintaining the community under encirclement for nearly 24 months, from August the paramilitary force proceeded to strengthen its position and prevent access for the remaining residents.

Orbital photography demonstrate that forces commenced to erect a massive sand wall - a built-up earthen wall - encircling the boundaries of the city, blocking roads and halting aid.

During the encirclement worsened, multiple individuals were killed in an militia assault on a mosque on September 19th, while the United Nations stated 53 additional were slain in drone and heavy weapon bombardments on a displacement camp in the autumn.

Explicit Recording Depicts Defenseless People Shot

By sunrise on October 26th the paramilitary force conquered the last army positions and seized the primary base in the urban area, the main facility of the Army Division, as the government forces pulled back.

Perhaps the most disturbing recordings to emerge and examined showed the consequences of a mass killing at a campus structure on the west of the community, where dozens lifeless forms were seen scattered over the floor.

An elderly man dressed in a robe was seated alone amongst the corpses. He rotated to look as a fighter carrying with a rifle proceeded descending the staircase in the direction of the individual. pointing his weapon, the shooter released a single round at the individual, who fell to the ground lifeless.

"Why is this one yet breathing," another combatant cried. "Shoot this person."

Space-based imagery taken on 26 October appeared to substantiate that executions were furthermore carried out on the streets of al-Fashir, according to a study published by the university analysis team.

An observer who communicated stated the individual had seen "numerous of our relatives being killed - they were collected in one place and everyone eliminated."

Militia Officers Attempt to Conduct Damage Control

In the days that ensued from the massacre, RSF chief acknowledged that his troops had perpetrated "violations" and stated the incidents would be examined.

Meanwhile, the militia and connected online accounts began attempting to alter the account.

Posts showing its combatants distributing aid to civilians were shared by some accounts, while the paramilitary's media office released several videos allegedly to show the compassionate handling of military captives.

Despite the social media effort being employed by the RSF, their activities in the city have sparked global outrage.
