Vince Zampella, renowned for co-creating the wildly popular first-person shooter Call of Duty, has passed away in a traffic collision in California at the age of 55.
His passing was announced by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the video game company which he helped establish.
The celebrated industry figure died after his automobile collided and was engulfed in flames on a highway in Los Angeles on Sunday morning, according to.
