Your Perfect Pocket Monster Tales: Z-A Super Form According to Your Zodiac Sign

This comeback of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited immense excitement within the fandom. From the one-by-one unveiling of newcomers before the game's launch, to trainers developing strong views on the entire roster of new Megas, there's a lot for fans to anticipate.

Given many of the Mega Evolutions showcasing unique designs that emphasize their personalities, one idea came to mind: How can link this with astrology? The following is inspired by a blend of vibes, common zodiac traits, and personal experience.

Aries – Mega Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndour's evolution was nearly chosen for this fire sign, as they are the Super Form and zodiac symbol that inspire the greatest apprehension. However, a Mega Houndoom appears as constantly furious, which isn't typical of the Aries vibe, renowned for being playful, cheerful, and spontaneous. This makes Aries far more similar to Super Camerupt, which solely spews lava when angered. Remain on the friendly side of both and benefit from a powerful partner; should you offend them, prepare to face the consequences.

The Bull – Super Heracross

Similar to a loyal Taurus, the steadfast Heracross, both in its regular and Mega form, has assisted many trainers in Legends: Z-A. While trustworthy, each the creature and a Bull are still battle-oriented, and – be it their companion or a firm belief – will defend their side to the end. What about Super Heracross that reminds me most of my Bull-sign companions, though, is its unabashed love of snacks. Many past official descriptions note their craving for sweet tree sap and how it employs its appendage to collect it everything, which is true Bull-sign vibe.

The Twins – Super Medicham

Look at this total royalty. You cannot tell me this creature is not the life of every party, providing an endless fountain of gossip to anyone who wish to listen. Much like an enrapturing, sociable Gemini, it's very easy to imagine Mega Medicham captivating an whole Wild Zone with their stories. This Pokémon's Pokédex entry also mentions its ability to foresee an opponent's future actions, which seems quite like a socially-savvy Twins.

The Crab – Mega Manectric

The Crab is widely considered as the most sensitive sign of the zodiac, a intense sign known for frequently getting wrapped up in their feelings. Per the official info, Super Evolution fills the creature with a “tremendous quantity of electricity, but it's too much for this Pokémon to fully manage,” which seems a lot like a classic Cancer crash-out. It is also known for its capability to create a thundercloud over its own head – and if there’s a single trait a Cancer is going to do, it’s rain on their good time.

Leo – Mega Starmie

Oh, did you think I was going to pick Pyroar for the king of the stars? Aside from the fact that it would be far too obvious, The Lion is clearly Mega Starmie, the diva whose legs just became an internet sensation for being extremely glamorous (or terrifying, based on your preference). Fans were captivated from the purple starfish, and that’s precisely the same energy a Leo offers to the scene. This Pokémon is also said to be transmitting radio waves from its center out into space, and it’s just like a Lion to be staging a performance, albeit for aliens.

The Maiden – Super Victreebel

The ever-prepared and constantly-worried Maiden is perfectly represented in Super Victreebel, the Super Form with constant digestive issues. The sign known for being endearingly judgmental is clearly mirrored throughout this Pokémon’s whole lineage, from a perpetually shocked expression like a Virgo when you inform them you don’t have a 401(k), to its inverted face that’s similar to the emoji a Virgo sends to the chatroom when all says they want to “be spontaneous” instead of creating a strategy.

Libra – Mega Audino

Observe this sweet, empathetic being, who employs the sensors on its ears to detect how people are feeling by their heartbeat. Consistently empathetic – occasionally to a detriment – and trying to keep the peace, there are many Libras who would probably appreciate Mega Audino’s abilities. However, let’s be honest, it would probably just make them stress more about others.

The Scorpion – Mega Banette

This Ghost-type is a creature with a unexpectedly tragic backstory: Discarded as a toy, it became sentient through sheer resentment and vowed revenge on its former owner. According to the official info, Super Evolution, “enhances its spitefulness.” That sounds precisely like several discussions I’ve had with my intense Scorpion acquaintances. A Scorpion adores cosmic justice and comeuppance, making them the ideal match with Super Banette.

The Archer – Mega Hawlucha

Both Mega Hawlucha and Archers are constantly putting on a performance. Being a Sagittarius personally, the amount of times I’ve referred to myself some version of a “playful small entertainer” is innumerable. The most flamboyant and most obnoxious Super Form, its description even mentions how it “flexes to show off its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had a Super Form, making Mega Hawlucha the most apt Sagittarius match I can think of.

Capricorn – Mega Absol

Did you know that a Mega Absol has the power to predict calamities in advance? That exudes the exact same energy as a Capricorn, who tends to consistently think they’re right. The thing is, much like a prophetic Super Absol, they frequently are. It’s also the absolute first Super Form that trainers encounter in Legends: Z-A – just like a Capricorn to join the ground floor of the Mega trend.

The Water Bearer – Super Chandelure

Detached element Water Bearer is possibly the non-fire sign that is closest to a fire sign – its sister sign is Leo, and there are countless jokes about Sagittarius and Water Bearer being chaotic accomplices. Mega Chandelure’s double Ghost/Fire category fits perfectly with this, and the Super Form's general daunting aura is also extremely Water Bearer. If you hadn't yet convinced, the Mega’s Pokédex entry says it “absorbs hatred and transforms it into power.” If that fails to exactly {encaps
